I’m new to the First 5 App and their online Bible Studies, but I thought I’d give this a try and see what I/we can learn.

At the She Speaks Conference, I picked up this “Experience Guide” as it’s called of When Words Fail – A Study of Psalms. This is what it is about –

“Have you ever felt like some emotions were bad or off-limits to talk about? Emotions like anger, sadness, jealousy … maybe even spite or vengefulness.
Open the book of Psalms and you’ll find a book that encapsulates what it means to feel, from moments of unparalleled joy to seasons of sorrow and anger, but above all, you’ll see how to seek God as a safe haven and place of rest during all of life’s emotions.
Whatever you’re experiencing, turn to these songs for reassurance that you’re not alone, and learn how to process your emotions in the steadiness of His presence.
With the When Words Fail Experience Guide, a 13-week study on Psalms 1-72 you’ll find a quiet place to restore your soul in the comfort and consistency of Scripture. The Experience Guide includes:
Daily study questions to help you dive deep into Scripture
Historical context of the psalms that allows you to better understand their purpose
Major moments and themes within each of the psalms
No matter what you’re feeling, turn to God’s promises to find unwavering truth in the midst of your emotions.”

You can Purchase the Experience Guide Here and get the paper version or the digital version

I’m new to using the first 5 app, so that’s why I have the FB group and the app group, we will all learn as we go, but I’ll be going live in the FB group and connecting with you all more individually in there.

I know this is a lot to take in, but you dear friends are smart & I promise it will be worth it to dive into God’s word daily together. So do you want to join? We will officially start next Monday so you have time to order your workbooks if you choose to.

Feel free to invite a friend and share this post.

Once again – Join here first – Then go back and join the group in the First 5 app – https://www.facebook.com/groups/1276259635843763/
